Configuration Steps

Access AT&T Gateway

  1. 1.Connect to AT&T network (wired or WiFi)
  2. 2.Open web browser
  3. 3.Go to 192.168.1.254
  4. 4.Login with device password (on gateway label)

Enable IP Passthrough (Recommended)

  1. 1.Go to Settings → LAN → IP Passthrough
  2. 2.Set IP Passthrough Mode to "DHCPS-fixed"
  3. 3.Select your gaming device
  4. 4.Save and restart gateway

This gives your device a public IP (NAT Type 1)

Configure Port Forwarding

  1. 1.Navigate to Settings → Firewall → NAT/Gaming
  2. 2.Click "Add New"
  3. 3.Enter device info and ports
  4. 4.Enable and save settings

Troubleshooting Common AT&T Issues

Cannot access 192.168.1.254

  • Check if connected to AT&T network
  • Try 192.168.0.1 on some models
  • Reset gateway if needed
  • Use ethernet connection

IP Passthrough not available

  • Check if you have business plan
  • Some residential plans block this
  • Use port forwarding instead
  • Contact AT&T support

Port forwarding not working

  • Disable AT&T Smart Home Manager blocks
  • Check firewall settings
  • Ensure device has static IP
  • Try DMZ as last resort
